Everything is made to order, so timing matters more here than on an ordinary shop. This page answers what we get asked most: how long it takes, where we deliver, what it costs, and what happens on the day of the service.
Every product page shows an earliest arrival date rather than the rule, so you never have to work it out yourself. Dates inside the making time cannot be selected at checkout.
We deliver within ten miles of Sutton Coldfield. Check your postcode before you choose, so nothing is a surprise later.
We deliver to the funeral home, the church, or a home address — whichever suits. Tributes going to a service are timed to arrive before it starts, and we coordinate directly with the funeral director where there is one.
Flowers are a seasonal, living product and the markets vary week to week. If something you have asked for cannot be got in time, we substitute a bloom of equal or greater value and keep the shape, style and colours of the design you chose.
Because everything is made by hand to your specification, please tell us as early as you can if something changes. Ring the studio and we will do everything we reasonably can to help. Once a tribute has been made up, we may not be able to refund it, but we will always talk it through with you.
For a home address we will try a neighbour, or leave the flowers somewhere sheltered and out of sight if it is safe to do so, and post a note through the door. If neither is possible the tribute comes back to the studio and we ring you to arrange another time. Tributes going to a service are never left unattended.
Yes, and it is the best way to order anything bespoke. Upload it on the product page or email it to hello@floristrybyrose.co.uk. Badges, flags, shapes and lettering are all built from photographs regularly.
Yes. We send a photograph from the studio before the tribute leaves, so there are no surprises on the day.
Card and Apple Pay at checkout, handled securely. If you would rather pay over the phone, ring the studio and Sharon will take it that way instead.
Hydration is key. Trim the stems at a 45-degree angle before placing them in fresh water — this increases the surface area for absorption and keeps the blooms vibrant for longer. Keep them out of direct sun and away from radiators, and change the water every couple of days.
